Here’s what happened: Musk finally bailed on his bullshit White House role and called Trump’s budget proposal a “disgusting abomination” that could bankrupt the country. Suddenly, Musk wants to sound the alarm about fiscal responsibility—but it’s not the country he’s worried about. It’s his bottom line. Trump, never one to miss a petty fight, questioned Musk’s mental stability and threatening to pull federal contracts from his companies. Musk responded by hinting the 2024 election was rigged and floated the idea of launching a new political party to undermine conservative voters. So, there’s that.
