The past few days showed us just how much Trump hates anyone who is NOT white, Christian, and male. We also broke down this week the long-term Republican strategy to occupy Washington D.C., including today’s fascist parade overtaking the city’s streets against the will of its residents. June 10: When One Woman's Whiteness Becomes the Weapon
While at a Dallas airport this week, we intervened as a racist white woman lied to the police about a young Latina girl who she demanded be unjustly arrested for “pushing” her. The comfort that these MAGA monsters feel having public racist meltdowns knowing they won’t face consequences under the Trump regime, should not be understated. They are emboldened to say the least. June 11: They Are Snatching Americans Off the Street
A trusted fellow creator in this movement shared with us the story of L.A. ICE agents detaining two boys and holding them for days without food or water at an undisclosed location. No one in this country should be treated this way, but the rub is that both boys were U.S. citizens - wrongly detained simply for being brown. Whether the government has detained you and denied your freedom OR denied you an abortion, we discuss how both instances clearly demonstrate that bodily autonomy is an intersectional issue shared across the broader social justice movement.
June 12: The DL on EMTALA (Podcast)
EMTALA is back in the news, and Trump’s policy guidance (or lack thereof now) will undoubtedly lead to pregnant people dying from preventable causes. June 12: Congress Just Voted to Eliminate A "Sanctuary City"
Many Americans don’t know that Washington D.C. is a federal district; it has no state. It also has overwhelmingly progressive population of roughly 750,000 who consistently vote blue in presidential and city elections but, who have zero representation in Congress. Leaving the people of D.C. forced to follow laws passed by a group of federal lawmakers they never elected. The latest assault on D.C.’s autonomy comes from the House of Representatives, which voted to revoke D.C.'s status as a “Sanctuary City.” Find out how this assault on the nation’s capital goes beyond statehood to a coordinated scheme to control our bodies and entire lives.

Republicans’ ongoing disturbing obsession with controlling Washington D.C. has manifested as a fascist military parade disturbing city streets and instilling fear among residents. Not surprisingly, disenfranchised D.C. citizens never consented to Trump’s ego-stroking march. In fact, they vehemently opposed it which is deeply concerning because forced occupation, forced policies and forced births are all central pillars to incoming authoritarian institutions.
