From IRL to URL

American culture and elections are increasingly being determined online. For the last decade, the conservative right has heavily invested in digital media, and it shows. Conservative creators are paid in the 100s of 1000s, algorithms are favoring right-wing content, platforms are inflating conservative views, and media ecosystems are becoming apparent. In this episode, we discuss the urgent need for investment in progressive creators, content, and digital media platforms if we want to ever win an election again or preserve our democracy.
